Die Operette "Die Fledermaus" von Johann Strauss wird in einer Inszenierung von Wolfgang Gratschmaier zur Choreografie von Michael Fichtenbaum präsentiert. Die Handlung spielt in einem Badeort in der Nähe einer großen Stadt. Die Vorgeschichte der Operette dreht sich um Herrn von Eisenstein, der den Notar Dr. Falke nach einer Ballnacht betrunken und als Fledermaus verkleidet durch die Straßen irren lässt. Dies stellt für den Notar, der fortan Dr. Fledermaus genannt wird, eine peinliche Situation dar. Er beschließt, sich an Eisenstein zu rächen. Wie diese "Rache der Fledermaus" vonstattengeht, wird in der Operette erzählt. Feiern Sie erstmal Silvester mit dem Ensemble des Europaballetts.
